My book in Times book store!

My cousin Alyssa saw my book in a Times book store window in Kota Kinabalu. I remember looking at a similar window this time last year before the book was out. I tried to imagine it sitting among other beautiful glossy books about Sabah. It seemed like a dream. Thank you Alyssa.

  1. Reblogged this on Joanna Funk and commented:

Book about our Sabahan musicians available in book store chains across Malaysia 🙂

  2. You wrote a book, man! That is something huge for what I call one’s “life resume.” Good work. I’m duly impressed.

    1. Gosh Anne, I have to set aside time to just open my Reader and just READ my favourite blogs, of which yours is one. Yes, this is something which brought me a lot of joy and I will always be grateful for the experience from start to finish. A milestone in my life. Thanks babe.

    1. Thank you Rigzen!

Joanna is British Australian. Her early career was in financial news in London. That ended in 2008. Joanna moved to Sabah, her parents’ birthplace, where she wrote a blog about musicians, which became a book. Joanna came to Australia in 2012 and started this blog — her second.
