I will courier fifty books from Taiwan to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia to fit in a book launch before we move. The books will arrive December 18th 2012. The book launch is Dec 20th. Miles and I fly at 6.00 am Dec 22 to Brisbane. Tight or what?
So how does it feel to see your very first book being published? The publisher Natural History Publications (Borneo) sent me these pix today, and I’m smiling.
Joanna is British Australian. Her early career was in financial news in London. That ended in 2008. Joanna moved to Sabah, her parents’ birthplace, where she wrote a blog about musicians, which became a book. Joanna came to Australia in 2012 and started this blog — her second. These days, she writes mostly about music, her garden, and trips to Sabah. Oh, and Wookie the Havanese.
