In the garden: dragonfly
It’s sooo hot, it’s supposed to be 42 degrees here this weekend! Yesterday evening I watered down my plants, and found this guy afterwards. I was worried it got a blast of the hose, but later it fluttered off, probably with a massive headache.

Toadstools or wild fungi
The morning light is so gentle, everything is soft with dew, and it’s cool. These toadstools or wild fungi appeared overnight. After a few hours in the hot sun, they dry up and die. Nice to see them in their prime.
