Picked up this old copper-plated pourer for $3 from the Op Shop in Beaudesert where I volunteer.

I love old things but have never collected much because I’m always moving around. Maybe that’s going to change. Who knows? Anyway I got the Brasso out and gave it a first go. Will go over it again, maybe with cotton buds around the wooden bits. I also want to oil the wood, but better read about that first. I know I have linseed oil somewhere, because I used that with methylated spirits to oil my first old Beale upright piano. But maybe other oils are more suitable. Any advice would be great, please!
