When I first came to Australia ten years ago, October was hot. This year, we are still in Spring weather in Queensland — it’s wet with cool breezes. In some parts of the country people are really suffering with floods. But mercifully, right now Kooralbyn is nothing but blue skies and showers.

Bees love the lavender, although they scarper when I approach with the phone.

I think these spring onions have had it. Let the bugs enjoy the seeds, eh?
The meadowflowers are starting to appear.
