Joanna Funk

music, gardening and my dog

A face-to-face lesson, for a change!

Usually, I see Micah once or twice a week like this (pets turn up after the lesson of course):

He’s almost 100 kms from me, but over the years I’ve become a bit like an aunty and his mum and I have become very good friends.

This weekend we made a day of it! I taught Micah at his own piano and saw all his chess trophies too.

We had lunch together, then out to the movies and ice cream with mum! The movie wasn’t suitable for Micah so he went to a friend’s house.

Thank you for a great day Donna. Micah was waist-high to me years ago and now is almost my height. What a journey.
