Cowdy! From Nicole and Corrina

A big shout out to Nicole Krause and Corrina Duke, for helping me with some country clothes for my gigs.

Corrina and Nicole at the Canungra markets

I interviewed Nicole because she was a developing actor on the books of Agency 888 and I was copywriting for the agency. That’s when we realised we both lived in the Scenic Rim.

One day I messaged Nicole. “I’m in a country band and I don’t own anything country. Can you help me? Maybe a checked shirt or something?

“Funny you should ask,” she said. We have HEAPS of cowdy gear in our Cowdy shed shop where I live, and we are going to have a stall at the Tamborine Mountain School Markets.”

Nicole’s shed is in Illinbah. I could spend ages describing the shop. Instead I’m going to share a few photos of items in the shed and at the markets.

I went to Illinbah and met Corrina, who found this lovely crochet top for me. I wore it yesterday at our regular gig at Rathy Pub (3rd Sunday of the month). Below are the tasselled suede boots I wrote about previously. ❤️

Of course I feel like a total imposter! Clothes do not maketh the woman and unlike Nicole and Corrina, I don’t ride horses or do any cowgirl things. But I am in a country band.

So a big THANK YOU to Nicole and Corrina! If you want to ask them about items or when they are next at the market, comment below or on the contact form and I’ll forward to them.

In addition Nicole says, “We will be in Canungra on the main thoroughfare Sunday 29 November from 8am on 😎”.

Go and check them out!
