While I was playing at the resort last week, a family passed by the restaurant and stopped to look in the big window, which is behind me.
Dee, a lovely lady who lives locally, showed me a photo she took on her phone. It was a reflection in the piano fall board of a little girl’s face, looking in from the window.
“She was mesmerised,” said Dee. “I went outside and showed the mother the photo, and she asked if she could have it too. The little girl didn’t even notice me, her eyes were fixed on you. If she becomes a pianist one day we will know where it all started.”
What a lovely thought. Thank you for your photograph, Dee.
