The 2018 Carols in Jubilee Park event is organised by the Beaudesert Rotary Club, and this is what they say!
“Join us for the 2018 Christmas Carols in Jubilee Park presented by the Beaudesert Rotary Club. Gather the whole family, grab a picnic blanket and bring your Christmas cheer to the park, for a great night of family friendly entertainment. Santa will be there, ready to greet all the children, share his holiday cheer and wish them a Merry Christmas, so make sure you come and say hello. There will be Food and Drinks available for purchase from your local service clubs and businesses including a Coffee and Ice-Cream Van.”
Bec Teese is a singing teacher and a regular performer at BAMS Theatre (BAMS stands for Beaudesert Amateur Musical Society). Bec has a choir performing, and asked if I’d like to do 20 minutes on my own while people are being seated. Bec was thinking of keyboards, but didn’t mind when I said I’ll bring my melodica. Always looking for a new place to play melodica 🙂 I haven’t played Christmas carols on melodica before. Brilliant! Bec and local performers Jess Holbrook, Keith Dunn and Tiffany Kuiper will sing, as well as groups A-Choired Taste and BAMS Theatre, among others.

Here is A-Choired Taste! I met them at another event earlier this year and they liked my melodica too! Here we all are for the Fire On Mountains event in April.

So come and sing some carols on December 5, and remember to check out my melodica too!
