[Posting clips of my students performing lets them know I’m proud of them. Learning music – like learning most things – is a series of little steps, every step significant, and hopefully taken with a sense of pleasure and adventure.]
Angela is six years old, and doesn’t have a piano or keyboard at home.
She remembers well and makes every effort to curl her fingers, make them soft, and keep them down when she presses the notes.
We play duets so she can understand why it’s important to count crotchets, minims and semibreves (“short, long, very long!”)
Here is Angela playing a duet with me called How I Wish I Were A Fish
Angela, you ROCK!
