We had dinner at Kiyomi Restaurant on the Gold Coast recently. Our sashimi platter had the Heston effect!
Matcha (green tea) pavlova, seasonal fruit, passionfruit curd and gel, with sansho (a Japanese pepper!) ice cream.
Both these desserts were marvellous. I particularly liked the second one. I’ve never been a big fan of pavlova, but I’m a convert now! Matcha and pepper! Wild!
